Ana Maria Preoteasa

Senior researcher

Ana Maria Preoteasa, Ph.D. in Sociology (University of Bucharest, 2009), is a senior researcher with the Research Institute for Quality of Life, Romanian Academy. She was involved in several national and international research projects regarding employment quality and policies, poverty and vulnerable groups. She was member in several academic projects, involving comparative and longitudinal analysis, and the use of both quantitative and qualitative methods.  Her research results are published in books and articles in academic journals as European Societies, Journal of Balkan and Near Eastern Studies, or Southeast European and Black Sea Studies.
Research interests: employment, career orientation, migration, vulnerable groups, qualitative methods,
