Cătălin is a Bucharest based architect working in the field of extreme poverty housing areas and improper living conditions. He conducted several research projects in poverty neighborhoods since 2004, did participatory planning and built houses in ghettos, also published a book and various articles on Roma housing issues and coordinated a methodology for improving housing conditions in areas affected by exclusion. Besides the professional activity, awarded with some national prizes for urban planning, he was involved in various international actions aimed to draw attention at housing discrimination issues.
