Over time, RIQL created a database of social data, resulted from the quantitative researches conducted by the institute. Last-generation computers are available to those who are interested in using the database archive in order to manipulate, analyze, and present data from the archive. At the present time, this archive represents the foundation of the Romanian Social Data Archive (RODA), which is affiliated to the Council of European Social Science Data Archives and to the International Federation of Data Organizations.
Through its partnership with the University of Bucharest, RIQL developed a research program that is unique in Romania: the creation of the Romanian Social Data Archive (RODA), which includes data resulted from the social researches conducted in Romania during the last 18 years. The archive contains a rich collection of data, which is extremely valuable for Romanian social research. Access to the archive is granted not only to the institute’s researchers, but also to the Romanian scientific community, in general. The archive is organized in conformity to international standards and it has strong ties with similar European institutions (the Central Archive of University of Köln, the Dutch Social Science Data Archive).
