Several of the RIQL researchers work on analyses on the living standard, the bare minimum for decent living and subsistence level living, the impact of certain socio-economic policies on the consumption of goods and services (the structure of incomes and expenditures on food, other goods, and services) and on various models of consumption. The models of consumption and the bare minimum for decent living are analyzed taking into account the residential area, the socio-occupational category, and the social status of the individuals. Our researchers also develop longitudinal analyses on the ratio of average wages to minimum wages and average pensions to minimum pensions and the ratio of wages to pensions.
