RIQL has a program
researching the role of human and symbolic capital in social development and
the population’s quality of life. The program investigates levels and
structures of human and symbolic capital in the Romanian society, emphasizing –
through comparative analysis – their relationship to the development of
society, and suggesting development policies for Romania. An important direction of
research included in this program is represented by the study of social values.
This RIQL project is part of a large European project of longitudinal and
cross-sectional comparative analysis of social values.
