Research Directions
The leadership of the Research Institute for the Quality of Life is currently undertaken by Prof. Cătălin Zamfir, Director, Ph.D., correspondent member of the Romanian Academy of Sciences, and Prof. Ioan Mărginean, Deputy Scientific Director, Ph.D.
The Research Institute for the Quality of Life has 66 employees. The scientific staff (48 research fellows and research assistants) is organized by programs in research collectives defined on the basis of the researchers’ interests for subjects included in the annual plan of activity.
In 2008, the personnel structure of the Research
Institute for the Quality of Life includes: 6- 1st degree research fellows, 5-
2nd degree research fellows, 19- 3rd degree research fellows, 7 research
fellows, 11 research assistants, and 18 assistants with average-level schooling.
